In line with Swepac’s aim to develop the sales network in the GCC market we are very happy to appoint Elmec as our authorized distributor for Swepac products in UAE. Swepac Executive director Exports – MEAA Mr Vipin Tak explains, “Dubai plays an important role for launching and expanding a business in MEA markets and we are happy to start our relationship with Elmec. Elmec is well suited with a modern business approach and good coverage in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Elmec’s Managing Director – Mr Mahaveer Shah who has over 15 years’ experience in light construction equipment explains, ”Dubai is a unique market and the Government is continuously investing in road building and other infrastructure developments. These projects require high quality and reliable machinery. For a long time we were looking for European light construction equipment. After checking the performance of Swepac Rollers, Plate Compactors and Rammers in our rental fleet, we immediately decided to become a distributor of Swepac products in UAE.”
Elmec will offer a complete range of light compaction equipment and concrete treatment machines from Swepac, all of which can be seen in Elmec’s showroom in Dubai.
Swepac CEO Anders Johansson explains further. “After appointing Mr Tak, based in Dubai, as Export director MEAA, the engagement level has increased considerably, and we look forward to more distributors to follow in this large and construction intense area which encompasses not only Middle East but also Africa and Asia.”
